This dynamic role offers the opportunity to lead engaging tennis lessons, develop personalized training programs, and foster a love for the sport within a vibrant community setting. The ideal candidate will bring enthusiasm, expertise, and a commitment to creating a positive, motivating environment for all participants. Duties Design and deliver engaging tennis lessons tailored to various age groups and skill levels, ensuring clear progression pathways for each student Develop customized training plans that improve technique, strategy, and overall performance Lead group clinics, private coaching sessions, and seasonal programs to maximize participation and skill development Monitor student progress regularly, providing constructive feedback and encouragement to boost confidence and motivation Maintain a safe playing environment by enforcing safety rules and proper equipment usage Manage behavior effectively by applying positive discipline strategies and fostering respectful sportsmanship among participants Must be willing to travel to different areas for tennis courts or tennis facilities between lessons Skills Proven experience in sports coaching, particularly tennis instruction at various levels Strong background in physical education teaching methods and child development principles Valid RSPA and/or Safeplay certification Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively with children and students of all ages Demonstrated ability in behavior management to create a positive learning environment Familiarity with health club or gym operations supports comprehensive fitness programming UTR level 11.0+ ITF or ATP certification recommended Join us in shaping confident athletes while promoting healthy lifestyles!
