This is not a position for someone looking to simply collect a paycheck, show up when it's convenient, or use the program to promote themselves. We are looking for coaches who genuinely care about helping players develop, who take pride in being dependable, and who understand that parents are trusting us with their children. Over the past year, one of the biggest challenges youth basketball organizations have faced is coach reliability. Coaches accepting positions and then missing practices, showing up late, failing to communicate, or treating coaching as a hobby instead of a commitment creates a poor experience for players and families. We are determined to build a staff that operates at a higher standard. What we're looking for: Minimum 1 to 2 years of basketball coaching experience Dependable transportation Consistent availability for practices and tournaments Strong communication skills Ability to coach players of different skill levels Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a staff Ability to build relationships with players while still holding them accountable Professional interaction with parents and fellow coaches Preferred but not required: Access to gym space Playing experience at the high school, college, or professional level Existing relationships within the local basketball community

Responsibilities:

Run and assist with team practices Coach weekend tournaments Communicate attendance issues in advance Assist with player evaluations and team formation Help create a positive culture focused on development, accountability, effort, and teamwork Represent Everyday Hustle professionally on and off the court Before applying, please understand: Practices are typically held during weekday evenings. Tournaments are typically played on weekends. Reliability is non negotiable. Communication is non negotiable. Players come before personal agendas.
