Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a Recreational Gymnastics Coach and inspire children and youth to develop their gymnastics skills, confidence, and love for movement! In this energetic role, you will lead engaging gymnastics classes, fostering a safe, inclusive, and motivating environment. Your passion for gymnastics, and working with young people will help shape memorable experiences that promote health, teamwork, and personal growth. Duties deliver fun, age-appropriate gymnastics lessons and recreational activities that emphasize skill development, safety, and enjoyment Demonstrate proper techniques for various gymnastics movements, including tumbling, balance beam work, vaulting, and floor routines Supervise participants during classes and ensure adherence to safety protocols at all times Foster a positive environment by encouraging teamwork, good behavior, and self-confidence among participants Assist with organizing special events such as competitions, showcases, or themed activity days Maintain equipment safety checks and ensure the gym area is clean, organized, and ready for daily activities Communicate effectively with parents or guardians regarding participant progress and behavior when necessary Requirements Prior experience in sports coaching, teaching physical education, or working with children in recreational settings Knowledge of gymnastics fundamentals Strong skills in behavior management to promote respectful conduct and a positive learning atmosphere Ability to demonstrate leadership while maintaining patience and enthusiasm for working with young learners Certifications or training in child care or youth sports coaching are desirable Physical fitness to actively participate in demonstrations and supervise active classes Join us to make a lasting impact on young athletes' lives by promoting healthy activity through energetic coaching!
