Job Description

Orangewood Christian School is seeking a passionate and dedicated Girls Lacrosse Head Coach to lead and grow our girls lacrosse program. This is a stipend-based, part-time position ideal for an individual who is committed to developing student-athletes both on and off the field. Position Overview The Head Coach will be responsible for all aspects of the girls lacrosse program, including program development, practice planning, game preparation, player development, and fostering a Christ-centered team culture that aligns with the mission and values of Orangewood Christian School. Responsibilities Lead and oversee all aspects of the girls lacrosse program Plan and conduct practices, conditioning, and skill development sessions Organize game strategy and in-game coaching Promote teamwork, sportsmanship, discipline, and character development Communicate effectively with players, parents, administration, and athletic staff Assist with scheduling, equipment management, and program organization Encourage and support the academic and spiritual growth of student-athletes Help build enthusiasm and participation within the lacrosse program Qualifications Previous coaching and/or playing experience in lacrosse preferred Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills Ability to mentor and positively influence student-athletes Commitment to the mission and values of Christian education Must meet all school and athletic association requirements, including background screening Position Details Part-time, stipend position Seasonal commitment with practices and games during the school lacrosse season Compensation based on experience and program needs Interested candidates should send their resume and a brief statement of interest to dpitts@ocsrams.org
