In this role, you will support the head coach in developing young athletes' skills, fostering teamwork, and promoting a positive sporting environment. Your enthusiasm for sports, combined with your ability to motivate students and manage behavior effectively, will help inspire our student-athletes to achieve their best both on and off the field. This paid position offers a fantastic opportunity to contribute to youth development while honing your coaching skills in a lively, supportive setting. Duties Assist the head coach in planning and executing soccer practices, drills, and game strategies that enhance player skills and teamwork Support players during training sessions by providing constructive feedback and encouragement to boost confidence and performance Help manage team logistics, including equipment setup, game day preparations, and player attendance tracking Promote sportsmanship, discipline, and positive behavior among students during practices and competitions Collaborate with staff to ensure safety protocols are followed and that all activities comply with school or organization policies Contribute to fostering an inclusive environment that welcomes players of all skill levels and backgrounds Support the development of players' physical fitness through related activities such as stretching, conditioning, or basic strength training Monitor and support the academic progress of the student-athletes Experience Previous experience in sports coaching or assisting with youth athletic programs is highly desirable Background in physical education, teaching physical skills, or working with children is a plus Knowledge of soccer rules, techniques, and strategies essential for effective coaching support Experience with behavior management techniques to motivate students and maintain a positive environment Familiarity with other sports such as basketball, cheerleading, climbing, karate (including judo), swimming, or martial arts is advantageous Demonstrated ability to work effectively with students of diverse ages and skill levels in a team setting Join us in shaping confident athletes while fostering teamwork, discipline, and fun!
