Company Overview Little Aquatics was founded in 2003 with a passion for teaching children to swim and be safe around the water. We provide high-quality swim lessons across various locations, focusing on safety, skill development, and confidence-building for learners of all ages. Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Swim Instructor to join our team! In this role, you will lead engaging swim lessons for children and adults, fostering a safe and fun environment that encourages progress and enjoyment in the water. Your enthusiasm and expertise will inspire swimmers to achieve their goals while ensuring safety at all times. Responsibilities Lead group and individual swim lessons for children and adults, tailoring instruction to different skill levels. Demonstrate proper swimming techniques, water safety skills, and behavior management strategies. Monitor participants closely during lessons to ensure safety protocols are followed. Provide constructive feedback to help students improve their swimming abilities. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe pool environment in compliance with health standards. Engage with parents and guardians to communicate progress and address concerns. Assist with setting up lesson plans, activities, and special water safety events as needed. Requirements Prior experience as a lifeguard or in sports coaching, teaching, or martial arts such as Karate or Judo is highly desirable. Strong background in swimming, physical education, or related sports like basketball or cheerleading. Experience working with children or students in educational or childcare settings. Knowledge of behavior management techniques to foster positive learning environments. Ability to demonstrate excellent communication skills and enthusiasm for teaching water safety. Certifications in lifeguarding, first aid, CPR (or willingness to obtain upon hire). Passion for promoting health, fitness, and water safety through engaging instruction. $16.00 - $36.00 per hour
