1099 About PSL Hurricanes FC PSL Hurricanes FC is one of the fastest growing youth soccer clubs on the Treasure Coast, providing recreational, competitive, premier, and elite pathways for boys and girls across all age groups. Competing in leagues such as Elite Academy League, N1 League, FSPL, EDP, SEFPL, and TFL, the club is committed to delivering a professional, player-centered environment focused on long-term development and meaningful opportunities both on and off the field. Position Summary PSL Hurricanes FC is seeking qualified, motivated coaches to join our Competitive Travel Program staff. These individuals will provide leadership, mentorship, and support across the club while working collaboratively with the Director of Coaching to ensure alignment, continuity, and sustained growth at all levels of play. The ideal candidates are knowledgeable soccer coaches who are passionate about developing players both on and off the field while emphasizing technical development, teamwork, accountability, and sportsmanship. Professional appearance, attire, communication, and attitude are expected at all times while representing PSL Hurricanes FC on and off the field. Key Responsibilities Deliver high-quality, game-based training sessions aligned with U.S. Soccer player development principles and PSL Hurricanes FC standards. Identify and evaluate players using consistent observation and assessment methods. Support a club-wide curriculum and game model focused on long-term player development. Create a professional, organized, positive, and player-centered environment. Collaborate with coaching staff to maintain consistency and shared standards across teams. Attend all assigned training sessions, games, tournaments, meetings, and club events. Ensure all training sessions and matches adhere to safety standards and guidelines. Be familiar with emergency action procedures and respond appropriately to injuries or incidents. Assist with attendance tracking, player evaluations, and administrative duties as assigned. Represent PSL Hurricanes FC professionally in all interactions with players, families, referees, opponents, and staff. Maintain professional attire and conduct during all trainings, matches, tournaments, and club functions. Perform additional duties as assigned by the Director of Coaching. Minimum Requirements Minimum U.S. Soccer D License (or willingness to obtain) Current SafeSport Certification Current Concussion Safety Education Certification Ability to pass a Florida Department of Law Enforcement Level 2 Background Check Permanent legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship Preferred Qualifications Experience in elite youth development and/or talent identification environments Strong teaching and communication skills with a player-centered coaching approach Demonstrated growth mindset and commitment to continued coaching education Ability to coach using holistic, game-based, and experiential learning methods Commitment to collaboration and shared club standards Ability to foster challenging, positive, and development-focused environments Passion for helping players grow both athletically and personally Why PSL Hurricanes FC?
