Swim Instructor — Coastline Swim School (Sarasota, FL) Private, in‑home swim instruction for families across Sarasota About Us Coastline Swim School is a mobile swim program serving families across Sarasota, FL. We bring gentle, confidence‑building swim instruction directly to home pools. Our approach is calm, patient, and child‑centered — no pressure, no rushing, and no dunking. We focus on safety, trust, and steady progress for swimmers of all ages. We're growing and looking for instructors who care deeply about creating a positive experience for families. Position Overview We are seeking a Swim Instructor to provide private, in‑home lessons for infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and school‑age swimmers. This role is ideal for someone who loves working with children, communicates warmly with parents, and brings a calm, professional presence to every session. Responsibilities Teach private swim lessons at clients' home pools throughout Sarasota Deliver gentle, supportive instruction tailored to each child's pace Create a safe, encouraging learning environment for all ages Communicate clearly with parents before and after each lesson Maintain professionalism, punctuality, and reliability Follow Coastline Swim School's safety standards and teaching approach Track swimmer progress and provide updates to families Required Qualifications Experience teaching swim lessons or working with children Strong swimming skills and confidence teaching in the water Current CPR/First Aid certification Current swim instructor certification (WSI, Lifeguard Instructor, or equivalent) Reliable transportation to travel between client homes Warm, patient, and positive, and friendly communication style Ability to work independently and represent the Coastline brand professionally Schedule & Pay Flexible scheduling — you choose your availability Pay Range $25 to 28/hr Opportunities for additional hours as the program grows Why Join Coastline Swim School Calm, supportive teaching environment One‑on‑one lessons - no crowded classes A brand built on trust, safety, and gentle progress Meaningful work that helps families feel confident around water How to Apply Submit your resume and a brief note about your experience teaching swim lessons and your current certifications.
