Advanced Volleyball Coach Private Training & Athlete Development

Edge Volleyball Training is Tampa's only year-round volleyball training facility dedicated specifically to skill development, private training, and athlete progression. We work with athletes ranging from beginners to collegiate-level players, including athletes who travel from across Florida and around the country to train with our staff. Unlike traditional club or team environments, our focus is not on scrimmaging or simply running drills. Training at Edge is centered around technical development, biomechanics, movement efficiency, volleyball IQ, and building athletes through high-repetition, detail-oriented coaching. Our environment is built for coaches who genuinely enjoy teaching the game and helping athletes make measurable improvements over time. We are currently expanding our coaching staff and looking for experienced volleyball coaches who are passionate about athlete development and high-level training. This role primarily involves working with athletes in private lessons, semi-private sessions, and small group training environments. Coaches are expected to provide individualized feedback, teach advanced mechanics, and create a positive, challenging training atmosphere.

What We're Looking For:

Previous volleyball coaching experience Strong understanding of volleyball mechanics and skill progression High-level playing experience preferred Ability to teach athletes of different ages and skill levels Coaches who are detail-oriented, energetic, and professional Strong communication skills with both athletes and parents Coaches who genuinely care about long-term athlete development

Responsibilities:

Lead private and small group volleyball training sessions Teach proper mechanics and technical skill development Build individualized progressions based on athlete needs Provide constructive feedback and corrections Help athletes improve confidence, decision making, and overall game understanding Maintain a positive and professional training environment Communicate clearly with athletes and families regarding progress and goals

Schedule:

Flexible scheduling available. Evening and weekend availability preferred due to athlete demand.

Compensation:

Pay is based on coaching experience, playing background, reliability, athlete retention, and overall impact within the program. Coaches with advanced experience and proven development success have access to higher earning opportunities and premium training hours.

Pay:

$25.00 - $50.00 per hour
