Chief Administrator Position Summary:

The Assistant Coach supports the Head Coach in delivering organized, energetic, and professional training sessions. Assistant Coaches help maintain practice flow, provide athlete feedback, assist with drills, and contribute to a positive training environment. This role is ideal for individuals looking to grow within coaching while learning the Optimum Beach training philosophy and culture.

Responsibilities:

Practice Support Assist the Head Coach during practices and clinics. Help demonstrate drills, techniques, and gameplay concepts. Monitor athlete engagement, effort, and behavior. Help maintain organized practice flow and time management. Athlete Interaction Encourage and motivate athletes throughout training. Provide basic technical feedback and support. Help create a positive, inclusive, and disciplined environment. Build positive relationships with athletes while maintaining professionalism. Tournament & Event Assistance Assist during tournaments, camps, showcases, and special events when assigned. Support coaches with athlete management and organization. Assist with check-ins, warm-ups, and communication when needed. Professional Expectations Arrive on time and prepared for all assigned sessions. Represent Optimum Beach professionally. Be open to mentorship, feedback, and continued learning. Follow all Optimum Beach policies and coaching standards.

Requirements:

Basic understanding of beach volleyball. Positive attitude and willingness to learn. Strong work ethic and communication skills. Ability to work evenings and weekends. Reliable transportation.

Preferred Qualifications:

Former or current volleyball athlete. Interest in pursuing coaching development. Experience working with youth athletes. Passion for beach volleyball and mentorship.
