Job Description
My Gym Children's Fitness Center is seeking a high-energy, motivated Director to help lead our South Tampa location. This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll support daily operations, manage staff, and actively teach children's fitness classes. If you love working with kids, have a background in gymnastics, cheerleading, or dance , and are looking for a fun, fast-paced leadership opportunity—this is the role for you. Responsibilities Manage the daily operations of the gym Lead, train, and motivate staff to deliver high-quality programs Teach children's classes, camps, and birthday parties Provide excellent customer service and build relationships with families Support membership growth and retention initiatives (sales background preferred) Maintain a clean, safe, and organized facility Qualifications Experience working with children (required) Background in gymnastics, cheer, dance, or fitness ( strongly preferred) Leadership or supervisory experience (preferred) Sales experience (preferred) Strong communication and interpersonal skills Energetic, outgoing, and team-oriented personality Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and remain active for extended periods Schedule Requirements Must be available to work evenings and weekends (required) Flexible scheduling based on class and event needs Pay & Benefits $45,000-$48,000 annual, base salary Bonus and commission opportunities 9 paid holidays + 15 PTO days per year Flexible schedule 50% discount on children's programs Free uniforms Company events and team-building activities Ongoing training and career growth opportunities
