Job Description
Overview Join our team as a Footvolley Assistant Coach and be part of the growth of one of Brazil's most exciting sports now expanding rapidly in the U.S. In this role, you will support training sessions and learn directly from the Head Coach while helping develop structured footvolley programs for adult players. Footvolley combines the technical skills of soccer with the dynamic movement of beach volleyball, creating a fast-paced sport that builds agility, coordination, and precision. This opportunity is perfect for individuals passionate about sports, athlete development, and hands-on coaching. You'll contribute to a positive, high-energy environment that motivates players of all backgrounds to improve, compete, and enjoy the sport. Duties
- Assist the Head Coach in planning and delivering structured footvolley training sessions for adult players of varying experience levels.
- Help lead drills and conditioning exercises designed to improve agility, balance, reaction time, and overall athletic performance on sand.
- Provide players with constructive feedback to help refine technique and elevate their level of play.
- Help organize scrimmages, skill challenges, and friendly matches to reinforce learning and promote competitive spirit.
- Assist with equipment setup and breakdown, ensuring the sand court and training space remain safe, organized, and ready for use.
- Support communication with players regarding schedules, progress, and training goals. Requirements
- Experience in sports coaching, athletic training, or instructional roles is preferred but not required.
- Background in soccer, volleyball, futsal, beach volleyball, or similar sports is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of athletic movement, coordination, and basic sports training principles.
- Ability to demonstrate discipline, teamwork, and a positive attitude during practices.
- Strong communication skills and willingness to learn the techniques and culture of footvolley.
- Ability to work in outdoor environments, including sand courts and beach-style training facilities.
- Enthusiasm for developing athletes and contributing to a growing sports community.
- Certifications such as first aid/CPR or coaching credentials are a plus but not mandatory.
