Swim Instructor Aqua Squad Swim Wesley Chapel, FL Job Details Part-time | Seasonal $40 - $68 an hour 2 days ago Benefits Flexible schedule Qualifications CPR Certification Customer communication Customer service Swimming Working with children Working with students Full Job Description Aqua Squad is growing, and we're looking for an enthusiastic, reliable, and passionate swim instructor to join our team. This position is primarily for afternoon and evening lessons, with most hours occurring between 4:00 PM and 7:00 PM , with opportunities for additional daytime and weekend hours available . This can be a part-time position with the potential to expand into a larger role for the right candidate. About AquaSquad At AquaSquad, we believe water safety comes first. We focus on teaching water safety, survival skills, and swim competency before progressing to stroke development and advanced swimming techniques. Our goal is to create confident, capable swimmers who can safely enjoy the water for a lifetime. What You'll Do Teach private and small-group swim lessons in clients' pools Travel to lesson locations throughout the local area Create a fun, engaging, and safe learning environment Teach water safety, swim competency, and stroke development skills Communicate professionally with families Arrive on time, prepared, and ready to teach Represent AquaSquad with professionalism and positivity Most lessons are taught in a 1:1 setting , with occasional small groups of up to 3 students per instructor . Qualifications Minimum 1.5 years of swim instruction experience preferred Current WSI (Water Safety Instructor) certification preferred Current CPR certification required Experience working with children of various ages and abilities Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license Proof of personal vehicle insurance Ability to travel between lesson locations Strong communication and customer service skills Who We're Looking For The ideal candidate is: Passionate about teaching and water safety Reliable, responsible, and professional Positive, patient, and energetic Coachable, trainable, and open to feedback Comfortable teaching children of all ages and skill levels Someone who genuinely enjoys helping children grow in confidence and ability We are looking for someone who views teaching as more than just a job.
