Palm Beach Ibis Youth Football is seeking motivated, disciplined, and community-minded individuals to join the IBIS coaching family . Palm Beach Youth Football Alliance (PBYFA) is an independent youth football organization competing in the Mid Florida Youth Conference (MFYC) . This is also a great opportunity for recent high school graduates or former athletes interested in learning the fundamentals of coaching football and youth mentorship. Current Coaching Openings Age groups currently seeking coaches: 8U 10U 12U 14

U Schedule Practices:

Tuesdays-Thursdays (6:30 PM - 8:00 / 8:15 PM)

Game Days:

Saturdays (Start August 2026) Coach Expectations Applicants must be: A leader, mentor, and positive role model Knowledgeable in football fundamentals Available weeknights for practice Able to travel on weekends for games Drama-free, patient, and professional Reliable and committed Willing to work as part of a team and help build the organization Requirements Have basic knowledge of football fundamentals Have reliable transportation or live nearby Enjoy working with youth and mentoring athletes Be dependable and consistent All coaches must obtain: 2026 USA Football Youth Tackle Coach Certification Level 2 Background Check Compensation & Perks All coaches serve on a volunteer (unpaid) basis . However, PBYFA may provide the following incentives: $150 End-of-Season Coach Stipend Occasional Gas Cards Team Merchandise /

$500+ Coach Responsibilities Teaching fundamental football skills Promoting teamwork, sportsmanship, and character development Arriving on time for all practices and games Ensuring player safety and proper equipment usage Inspecting fields before games for hazards Teaching skills in age-appropriate stages Providing basic first aid when necessary Respecting officials and league rules Maintaining communication with parents and players Keeping player registration and medical forms available at practices and games Being aware of any medical conditions listed on player registration forms
