About us Weston FC, Inc. is a youth soccer club dedicated to providing the best training environment for all level of competitive players so they can achieve the highest level of play. Formed in 1998 with 100 players, Weston FC has grown into one of the largest and most respected competitive soccer clubs in the nation. Our mission is to teach players to be the best they can be on the field while treating each other, their coaches, opposing players, referees and fans with respect. We live our motto of "Integrity, Dedication, Success" every day both on and off the field.. We are looking for a Performance Coach, Sport Scientist, Strength & Conditioning Coach to joint one of the Nation's top youth soccer programs. The ideal candidate will have a background in exercise science, performance and soccer, and will be able to plan and deliver training sessions for youth soccer players.
Responsibilities:
Train high performance soccer players of different age groups and levels Plan and Evaluate training program Use technology to monitor the training process (i.e. GPS) Support teams during competition Collaborate with coaching staff & organization Travel with team when required Provide Sport science related education to athletes Attend periodic staff meeting Minimum requirements Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in an appropriate area of specialization such as exercise science, kinesiology or human movement (highly qualified senior students will be considered). Certification through a nationally recognized organization (NCSF, ACE, NASM, NSCA, ACSM) Must have high professionalism standards, including organizational and time management skills. Excellent communication skills are essential to success in this position. Proficient in teaching movement technique. Willingness to work flexible hours (afternoons and weekends)
