Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a highly organized and motivated Academic Coach to join our team. The ideal candidate will have excellent time management skills and a passion for helping students succeed. This role requires a commitment of a minimum of 10 coaching hours per week, including weekly team meetings. Training and access to the EF curriculum will be provided. Experience with children with ASD is a needed skill. The majority of coaching happens in person at our office, conveniently located in the Cumberland area of Atlanta but could expand to include Decatur and / or Johns Creek.
Key Responsibilities:
Instruction:
Deliver 1-hour lessons to students, applying scripted content to their current academic challenges.
Student Meetings:
Schedule and conduct 1:1 meetings with students, using Acuity Scheduling.
Follow-Up:
Send follow-up emails using provided templates, with copies to parents, summarizing meetings and outlining next steps.
Progress Tracking:
Manage progress notes and correspondence in our CRM system. Measure and report on student progress using provided tools and grade checks.
Issue Resolution:
Communicate any issues or concerns to your mentor or management for resolution.
Professionalism:
Maintain a high standard of professionalism in all interactions with students, parents, and colleagues.
