Job Description

Job Overview Join our dynamic aquatic program as the Head Swim Team Coach, where you will lead and inspire competitive swimmers to achieve their highest potential. This energetic leadership role involves designing training programs, fostering a positive team environment, and promoting safety and sportsmanship. As the cornerstone of our swim team, you will develop athletes' skills, motivate them to excel, and ensure a fun, inclusive, and disciplined atmosphere for swimmers of all ages and skill levels. Duties Develop and implement comprehensive training plans tailored to various skill levels, from beginner to advanced competitors Lead daily practice sessions, focusing on technique improvement, endurance building, and competitive strategy Foster a positive team culture that emphasizes sportsmanship, teamwork, and personal growth Monitor swimmer progress through regular assessments and provide constructive feedback to athletes and parents Oversee safety protocols in the pool area, including lifeguard supervision and emergency response procedures Coordinate team competitions, meets, and travel arrangements to ensure smooth participation Manage team equipment inventory and maintain a clean, organized training environment Collaborate with facility staff to ensure compliance with health and safety standards Engage in ongoing professional development related to sports coaching, swimming techniques, behavior management, and child development Experience Proven experience coaching swim teams or individual swimmers at competitive or recreational levels Lifeguard certification or experience working as a lifeguard is highly desirable Background in sports coaching with knowledge of teaching swimming techniques and physical education principles Demonstrated ability to work effectively with children and adolescents in a childcare or educational setting Familiarity with behavior management strategies to foster respectful and motivated team environments Prior experience working in health clubs or gyms can enhance understanding of fitness fundamentals Join us if you're passionate about nurturing young athletes' talents while promoting health, discipline, and fun!
