Mercer Athletics is searching for an Assistant Coach for Women's Volleyball.Responsibilities:
The Assistant Volleyball Coach is responsible for assisting the Head Coach in conducting the program while following departmental and University policy. Duties include but are not limited to: coaching, recruiting, scouting, purchasing of equipment, monitoring student-athletes/ academic progress, fundraising, coordinating team travel, and game day event management.Qualifications:
A bachelor's degree and prior coaching experience (preferably at the Division I level) are required. Candidates must have a valid driver's license and be insurable by the university's carrier as this position requires travel.Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Working knowledge of NCAA /Southern Conference rules in relation to women's indoor and beach volleyball NCAA/Southern Conference recruiting exam that allows the coach to recruit off-campus Knowledge of sport-specific software used in player and team development Ability to carry the equipment necessary for setting up the volleyball court NCAA DI Recruiting Certification fromNCAA/Southern Conference:
