Camp Full Job Description Position Information:
Cobb County PARKS is seeking highly motivated, energetic and skilled tennis professionals with an enthusiasm for providing youth and adult instructional classes to the community of Cobb County. We are looking to hire tennis professionals who will establish, promote and provide full-service, first-class programming and learning opportunities at parks, schools and other locations as determined necessary by the county. The county has 6 tennis centers. Applicants should be team oriented and accountable professionals, as these positions will be expected to provide a full range of tennis programming and instruction including but not limited to the following: county classes, clinics, group, private, semi- private lessons, Cardio tennis, summer camps, and workshops. Contractors will have the ability to work at more than one PARKS tennis center. The goal is to work together long term to maintain consistency and growth of PARKS programs.
Essential Responsibilities:
Promoting and maintaining a full schedule of instructional tennis lessons for youth or adults Striving to always increase participation and quality of programming Developing lesson plans: monitoring student progress; motivating students through the use of modern teaching techniques Maintaining accurate program records, attending meetings, workshops and training sessions as requested Providing exemplary customer service to participants, county residents and guests.
Minimum Qualifications:
Must possess and maintain in good standing a minimum RSPA, PTR or USTA Coaching Certification. Experience with teaching Adult and Youth group lessons is desired Willingness to work Weekday evenings and Saturday mornings Because this position will also involve contact with children, applicants must submit to and pass a background check and be Safe Play Certified.
