School Year Description:
Titan Nation is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated individual to serve as the Girls Wrestling Coach Assistant . The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and developing a competitive girls wrestling program while promoting sportsmanship, teamwork, and personal growth among student-athletes.
Responsibilities:
Organize and lead all aspects of the girls wrestling program. Plan and conduct effective practices that develop individual and team skills. Instruct athletes on proper techniques, conditioning, and safety. Promote good sportsmanship and positive representation of the school and community. Coordinate schedules, transportation, and communication with the athletic director. Ensure compliance with school, conference, and state athletic association regulations. Work collaboratively with school staff, administration, and parents. Supervise student-athletes during practices, competitions, and team events.
Qualifications:
Previous wrestling coaching or competitive wrestling experience preferred. Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills. Ability to motivate and mentor student-athletes. Must hold or be able to obtain required coaching authorization/licensure in the state of Iowa. Must complete required background checks and district trainings.
