To Be Determined Job Description To support the school's mission and the Activities Department Program's mission with the development and implementation of an exemplary 8th Grade Football Program that will effectively provide the best possible educational and athletic/activities experience for each student. Successful candidate must successfully complete a background check, have completed Mandatory Reporter training, and possess a Coaching Authorization issued by the Iowa Board of Educational Examiners. This position pays $2960. Bilingual preferred or highly desirable.

• The Head coach will carry out the philosophy and expectations of the Susan Clark and Muscatine Community School District Athletic Department. The coach's words and actions will lead the physical, emotional, and educational development of the student athletes in his/her care.
• The Head Coach will organize practices, and work with assistant coaches to develop the skills of student-athletes.
• The Head Coach will be the primary contact with parents to keep parents informed about information relating to the team.
• The Head Coach will work with the Varsity Head Coach to implement skill development and strategies that are developmentally appropriate for Junior High student athletes while maintaining and increasing enthusiasm for the sport.
• The Head Coach will work with the school administration to effectively collect required paperwork.
• The Head Coach, with the help of assistant coaches, will inventory and assign equipment and uniforms as necessary for the sport.
