(03300A) Is this split and/or fully grant funded? No Duties and Responsibilities The Assistant Coach reports directly to the Head Men's Basketball Coach. This individual is responsible for preparing men's basketball student-athletes for personal, academic, and athletic success. The Asst. Coach is responsible for adhering to all Department and University policies and procedures, as well as the rules, regulations, bylaws and interpretations of the Atlantic 10 Conference and NCAA.
This position will also:
Assist with on court training, practice planning , skill development Assist with recruitment of student-athletes : identifying talent, establishing relationships with clubs/teams , serving as an ambassador for Loyola University Chicago Assist with on-campus recruiting visits Assist with overall student-athlete development Other duties as assigned Minimum Education and/or Work Experience Bachelor's Degree and 1-2 years of collegiate playing experience.
