Job Description

About the Role Golden Racket Academy connects players with vetted private coaches who deliver one-on-one lessons at local courts. We are growing our Chicago roster and looking for experienced tennis and/or pickleball coaches ready to take on clients across the area. This is a 1099 contractor role with full schedule flexibility. You set your availability, work with clients across Chicago, and coach on your own terms. No fixed hours, no facility commute, no commitment beyond the sessions you accept.
Compensation Tennis:
Up to $60 per hour (starting range $45-$60)
Pickleball:
Up to $55 per hour (starting range $40-$55) Permanent rate increases available for high-performing coaches Fast payment processing through our website Responsibilities Deliver private one-on-one lessons tailored to each client's level and goals Provide clear instruction on technique, footwork, stroke mechanics, strategy, and match play Travel to local HOA, community, or public courts across the Chicago area Communicate professionally with clients on scheduling and progress Submit brief post-lesson notes through our website, used for client tracking and payment processing What We Are Looking For Experience as a tennis and/or pickleball coach, or a strong playing background (NTRP 4.0+ for tennis, DUPR 3.5+ for pickleball preferred) Comfortable working with players of all levels, from beginners through advanced Reliable transportation to courts across your area Strong communication skills and a professional, encouraging coaching style Certifications (USPTA, PTR, PPR) are a plus but not required Experience with youth or adult beginners is a plus Why Coaches Choose Golden Racket Academy Set your own schedule and accept only the sessions that work for you Work across Chicago on your own terms, no facility politics or fixed shifts We handle client acquisition, payment processing, and all admin so you just coach Join 50+ coaches already working with us across 20+ cities nationwide Real growth potential as our Chicago market expands and start coaching on your own terms.
