Coaching Opportunities Available:

City West-Side Locations :

West Town, Wicker Park, Logan Square, Avondale, Humboldt Park, Hermosa and Irving Park.

What We Offer:

Paid training with our Director of Coaching to equip you with the necessary coaching skills. Opportunities for growth and advancement, including potential roles as a Host Coach at various locations. Chance to coach for our Travel teams, providing competitive play experiences for young athletes. Opportunity to participate in the prestigious PSG National Cup in Miami.

Responsibilities:

Plan and conduct engaging soccer practices focused on skill development, teamwork, and game strategy. Provide instruction on fundamental soccer techniques including dribbling, passing, shooting, and defensive tactics. Evaluate player performance regularly and give constructive feedback aimed at individual improvement. Foster a positive team culture that underscores respect, discipline, and sportsmanship among players. Communicate effectively with players, parents, and fellow coaches regarding player progress and team expectations. Ensure adherence to safety protocols to protect the well-being of all participants during practices.

Qualifications:

Previous coaching experience in sports or a related field is preferred, with an emphasis on working with young athletes. Strong leadership skills that inspire and motivate young athletes. Excellent communication skills to foster positive engagement with players, parents, and colleagues. Ability to create an enjoyable and disciplined training atmosphere that encourages participation from players of all skill levels. Certifications in CPR/First Aid or lifeguarding are beneficial, but not required. Experience in childcare or roles within health clubs or gyms may provide advantageous insights into youth dynamics.
