Job Description
Head Soccer Coach (Part-Time) Position Available Immediately Calvary Christian Academy is seeking a passionate, experienced, and faith-driven Head Soccer Coach to lead our middle school soccer program. We are looking for a coach who is committed to developing student athletes both on the field and also in their walk with Christ through sports. Position Summary The Head Soccer Coach will be responsible for planning and conducting practices, developing players' soccer skills, fostering teamwork, sportsmanship, and serving as a positive Christian role model for student athletes. The coach will work under the direction of the Athletic Director. This coach will be responsible for building a competitive soccer program that reflects the mission and values of Calvary Christian Academy. Qualifications Minimum of 2 years of soccer coaching experience required. Previous experience coaching youth athletes preferred. Strong knowledge of soccer fundamentals, strategy, conditioning, and player development. Ability to organize and lead effective practices and game day. Demonstrated leadership, communication, and mentoring skills. Must be dependable, professional, and committed to the success of the soccer program. Must successfully complete a background check. Faith Requirements Must have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Must support and uphold the Christian mission, values, and statement of faith of Calvary Christian Academy. Must serve as a positive Christian role model. Must be willing to incorporate Christian principles, character development, and sportsmanship into the sports program. Responsibilities Plan and conduct practices that develop soccer fundamentals, teamwork, and game strategy. Teach proper techniques, skills, conditioning, and sportsmanship. Supervise student athletes during practices, games, and team activities. Communicate effectively with players, parents, the Athletic Director. Promote academic excellence, discipline, and Christian character among student athletes. Maintain a safe and positive environment for all participants. Perform player evaluations, team selection, and development. Attend coaches' meetings and school athletic events as required.
