Baseball Instructor

Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Baseball Instructor to inspire and develop aspiring athletes through engaging coaching and skill-building activities. In this role, you will lead baseball training sessions, foster a positive team environment, and promote physical fitness and sportsmanship among participants of all ages. Duties Design and deliver dynamic baseball training sessions tailored to various skill levels, from beginners to advanced players Teach fundamental techniques such as batting, pitching, fielding, and base running with clear instructions and demonstrations Foster a positive, inclusive environment that encourages teamwork, sportsmanship, and personal growth Monitor player progress and provide constructive feedback to enhance individual performance Implement behavior management strategies to maintain discipline and focus during practices and games Collaborate with parents, guardians, or school staff to communicate player development and address concerns Organize drills, scrimmages, and competitions that challenge athletes while keeping safety a top priority Qualifications Prior experience in sports coaching or teaching physical education, preferably with a focus on baseball or similar sports Strong background in baseball. Current player or played in high school, college or pro-level. Other athletic playing background is a plus. (Football, basketball, etc.) Experience working with children or students in a childcare or educational setting Knowledge of behavior management techniques to motivate and discipline young athletes effectively Lifeguard experience is a plus for understanding safety protocols around water-related activities Familiarity with sports like basketball or cheerleading enhances coaching versatility Certification in first aid or CPR is preferred but not required; willingness to obtain certification is advantageous Join us as a Baseball Instructor and be part of a vibrant team dedicated to fostering athletic skills, confidence, and lifelong love for sports.
