Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Head Coach for Varsity Football to lead our athletic program with enthusiasm and expertise. This paid position involves coaching student-athletes, fostering teamwork, and promoting sportsmanship while ensuring a safe, inclusive, and motivating environment. The ideal candidate will bring a passion for sports coaching, experience working with youth, and a commitment to student development both on and off the field. Responsibilities Develop and implement engaging training sessions tailored to varsity football players' skill levels Lead team practices, games, and tournaments with enthusiasm and strategic insight Promote positive behavior management and sportsmanship among student-athletes Collaborate with school staff to support student-athletes' academic success and personal growth Ensure safety protocols are followed during all athletic activities, including proper use of equipment and facilities Foster a team culture centered on discipline, respect, and resilience Communicate regularly with players, parents, and school administrators about team progress and upcoming events Skills Proven experience in sports coaching, particularly football or related team sports Strong background in working with students in educational or extracurricular settings Knowledge of behavior management techniques to motivate young athletes Lifeguard experience or familiarity with swimming, martial arts (Karate, Judo), cheerleading, climbing or other physical activities is a plus Experience in teaching physical education or coaching basketball can enhance your effectiveness Ability to foster teamwork, discipline, and leadership among diverse groups of students Excellent communication skills to engage students, parents, and school staff effectively Join us as we build a dynamic athletic program that inspires excellence both on the field and in life!
