LHS Head Girls Track and Field Coach

Position Title:

LHS Head Girls Track and Field Coach Education Required:

College degree, teacher license preferred but not required.

Previous Experience Required:

Experience coaching at the High School Level with Varsity High School coaching experience preferred. Highly Effective Leadership, Organizational, and Communication skills required. Ability to work well with students, staff members, and community. Experience and knowledge of strength and conditioning programs. Able to build personal and professional relationships with administration, teachers, coaches, players and parents. Prepares, plans, responsible and well organized. Dedicated and concerned about equipment, safety, sharing of athletes, academic progress and participation numbers. Encourages player development at the high school, middle school and youth league level. Provides proper instruction, teaching skills and strategies. Understands financial and budgeting process. Has technology skills and/or willing to learn to navigate Hudl, Max Preps, Final forms and Event Link software programs. Is knowledgeable and has an understanding of coaching and practicing rules and policies governed by the NFHS and IHSAA. Positive role model and motivator.
