June 2026 Manchester University is seeking a passionate and dedicated Women s Soccer Assistant Coach to help advance a competitive NCAA Division III program rooted in academic excellence, integrity, and student-athlete development. Reporting to the Head Coach, this position plays a vital role in recruiting, coaching, mentoring, and supporting student-athletes while contributing to the overall success and sustainability of the women s soccer program. This is a full-time, 12-month, exempt position with travel and nontraditional hours required, especially in season.What You'll Do:
Assist the Head Coach in all aspects of program leadership, including coaching, recruiting, retention, and team operations Support the recruitment of student-athletes committed to both athletic and academic success Monitor and support student-athlete eligibility and collaborate with campus partners to promote academic achievement Help plan, organize, and conduct practice sessions and game-day operations Assist with scheduling, travel planning, budgeting, equipment management, and inventory Support fundraising efforts and alumni/advancement initiatives Promote a positive team culture aligned with institutional values and NCAA, conference, and university regulations Contribute to student-athlete development through feedback, evaluation, and mentorship Perform other duties as assigned in support of the athletics departmentWhat You'll Need:
Bachelor s degree preferred Coaching and/or playing experience preferred; NCAA Division III experience strongly preferred Knowledge of and commitment to NCAA, conference, and institutional rules and compliance Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills Valid driver s license and ability to operate university vehicles CPR/AED/First Aid certification (or ability to obtain) Why Manchester University?
