Job Description:
Assist in the day-to-day operations of the Sports Performance department for all varsity programs. Design and implement strength and conditioning programs for assigned varsity sports. Coordinate year-round athletic development, including strength, speed, agility, power, and injury-prevention training. Assist in the supervision of graduate assistants and interns within the sports performance program. Collaborate with athletic trainers, sports medicine staff, nutrition personnel, and sport coaches to optimize athlete performance and wellness. Manage scheduling and operations of weight room and performance facilities. Ensure NCAA compliance and athlete safety during all training activities. Monitor and evaluate athlete performance metrics and training outcomes. Support return-to-play and rehabilitation efforts in conjunction with sports medicine staff. Other duties as assigned by the Director of Athletics. Visa sponsorship is not provided for this position.
Requirements:
College degree from a four-year college, master's degree preferred Previous sports performance coaching experience. CSCS or SCCC certification. Working knowledge of NCAA Division-I rules and regulations.
