Head Trainer Position Summary The Trainer at Athletic Republic Louisville is responsible for delivering high-quality, safe, and engaging sports performance training sessions for youth and adult athletes. This role requires strict adherence to Athletic Republic (AR) proprietary training protocols, professionalism, punctuality, and a strong commitment to providing an extraordinary training experience for every client. The Trainer works under the direct guidance of the Head Trainer and plays a critical role in maintaining consistency, safety, and positivity on the training floor. Key ResponsibilitiesTraining & Coaching Arrive on time and prepared for all scheduled shifts and training sessions; punctuality is a core expectation of this role. Lead small-group sports performance training sessions for youth and adult clients. Execute training sessions exactly as programmed and planned by the Head Trainer. Demonstrate proper technique for all exercises, movements, and athletic skills. Provide clear, positive, and corrective feedback to clients to ensure safe and effective performance. Maintain appropriate energy, engagement, and professionalism throughout all sessions. Program & Protocol Adherence Follow all Athletic Republic proprietary training protocols, systems, and session structures. Look to the Head Trainer for instruction, mentorship, and ongoing development. Maintain consistency with AR standards to ensure a uniform client experience. Client & Parent Communication Communicate clearly, respectfully, and professionally with clients and parents. Represent Athletic Republic positively in all client interactions. Address basic client questions appropriately and refer more complex concerns to the Head Trainer or management. Safety, Facility & Professional Standards Maintain a clean, safe, and organized training environment at all times. Enforce and follow all facility safety rules and procedures. Adhere strictly to the Athletic Republic "No Touch" Policy , with exceptions only for: Treadmill spotting Injury assessments with explicit approval from the client and parent (if a minor) Appropriate celebratory gestures such as fist bumps and high-fives Certification & Development Complete Athletic Republic Level 1 Certification by the end of the first week of employment. Complete Athletic Republic Level 2 Certification within 60 days of hire. Participate in ongoing training, feedback, and professional development as directed by the Head Trainer.
Pay:
$17.00 - $18.00 per hour
