Head/Assistant Volleyball Coach Core Elite Volleyball Club New Orleans, LA Job Details Part-time | Contract Up to $40 an hour 17 hours ago Qualifications Sports coaching Organizational skills Sports Teaching Time management Full Job Description Core Elite Volleyball club is searching for a qualified individual to fill the position of Head Volleyball Coach for our coming 2026-2027 season. This is a part-time position. The ideal candidate should have previous coaching experience and/or playing experience at the collegiate level as well as a love for the sport of volleyball. Candidates should be organized, and practice plans available for each practice. The season starts October 1 and runs through mid-June. Practices are typically 1.5 hours twice a week with tournaments held on selected Saturday-Sunday starting December 2026. We are hiring coaches for our 10U-17U teams.
Qualifications:
Four years of collegiate volleyball background as player and/or two years of coaching experience at club or school levels are preferred. Candidates must posses a knowledge of volleyball in fundamentals and advanced playing techniques. The volleyball coach must also have teaching knowledge in volleyball especially in the developmental areas. Must have excellent communication skills, and excellent time management and organizational skills. Volleyball Coach Time Commitment The anticipated time commitment for a Volleyball Coach is the full club season or camp/clinic, plus any required parent/coach meetings and coaching clinics. Coaches Orientation provided and required Promptness to all practices, tournaments, clinics and other club events Willing to travel to tournaments
