Duties Lead structured swimming lessons tailored to various age groups and skill levels, from beginners to advanced swimmers Demonstrate proper swimming techniques, safety protocols, and water survival skills with clarity and patience Monitor students closely during lessons to ensure safety, providing immediate assistance if needed Incorporate fun activities such as relay races or water games to enhance engagement and learning outcomes Maintain a clean, organized pool area and ensure all equipment is safe and properly stored Enforce behavior management strategies to foster respectful and focused class environments Collaborate with team members to plan lesson progressions and improve instructional methods based on student needs Qualifications Prior experience as a Lifeguard or in sports coaching, teaching, Strong background in swimming, physical education, or childcare with a passion for teaching children and youth Knowledge of behavior management techniques to support positive classroom dynamics Ability to demonstrate excellent communication skills and patience when working with students of diverse ages and abilities Certifications in Lifeguarding, Swimming instruction, or related fields are preferred but not mandatory; willingness to obtain necessary certifications is expected A proactive attitude with the ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team environment Embark on a rewarding journey where your energy fuels confidence in others!
