This role focuses on developing young athletes with competitive potential while delivering high-quality, structured, and engaging practices. The Rising Stars Coach plays a key role in supporting the overall success of the facility by helping athletes grow in skill, confidence, and character—while ensuring every practice delivers the "best hour of their week." What You'll Be Responsible ForAthlete Development Instruct athletes in gymnastics skills appropriate to their level and ability Identify and help develop athletes with competitive potential Utilize structured lesson plans to deliver progressive, high-quality practices Track athlete progress and skill development consistently Program Execution Follow and execute lesson plans and practice structure Set up and break down equipment to support safe and effective practices Maintain accurate attendance and skill tracking records Assist with and coach at mock meets and rec competitions Class Management & Safety Maintain a positive, structured, and engaging class environment Follow rotation schedules and manage groups effectively Prioritize athlete safety through active supervision, proper spotting, and skill progressions Enforce class expectations and proper equipment use Customer Experience Communicate with parents regarding athlete progress, behavior, and placement recommendations Build positive relationships with athletes and families Spend time before or after class connecting with families in viewing areas Contribute to creating a welcoming and professional environment What We're Looking For Positive, energetic, and engaging personality Experience coaching gymnastics or working with children Ability to manage groups and maintain structure in a class setting Strong communication and interpersonal skills Coachable, reliable, and team-oriented Passion for helping kids grow and succeed Preferred Qualifications Experience coaching recreational or pre-team gymnastics Background in gymnastics, cheer, dance, or related athletic fields USAG certifications (or willingness to obtain) Experience working with skill progressions and athlete development Comfortable communicating with parents about progress and development Position Expectations & Performance Standards Maintain required certifications (USAG, CPR, First Aid, etc.) Follow all company teaching principles and coaching standards Wear professional, branded athletic attire while coaching Maintain accurate and consistent skill tracking (minimum one skill per class) Achieve a Coach 360 score of 75% or higher Participate in meetings and ongoing training Actively support gym operations before, during, and after classes Why Join Stardust Gym?
