Position:

Wrestling Responsibilities:

Teach all aspects of the sport through fundamentals in daily practice sessions. Recruit and maintain an active team roster for the team to develop a competitive team.

Develop and evaluate each athletes performance.

Conduct and supervise all practices. Schedule and attend all contests.

Supervises the proper use of equipment and technique for the sport.

Participates in special events such as banquets, pep rallies, and senior/awards nights.

Distributes uniforms and equipment to student athletes as instructed by the head coach.

Attends professional development events to improve coaching skills.

Ensures nondiscriminatory practices. Other duties as assigned by the

Head Coach, or Athletic Director/PrincipalQualifications:

Previous experience as an Head coach in specified sport or related participation in the sportThorough knowledge of the game and current coaching techniquesComplete understanding of the rules, strategies, and regulations of the sportProven ability to coach and supervise student athletesMust posses a current medication delegation training certificate or be willing to obtain one
