Job Description
Overview The Salem State University Athletics Department is seeking a dedicated Intercollegiate Scheduling & Athletic Operations Coordinator/Head Coach to join our collaborative team. This role is responsible for coordination of all aspects of intercollegiate scheduling and travel. The coordinator/head coach will also assist with athletics operations and fundraising activities to help increase revenue and solicit opportunities for sponsorships, marketing partners, and community partnerships. The position will also serve as a head coach of an intercollegiate female sports team. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Sports Management or similar field Three or more years coaching experience at collegiate or similar level Three or more years of direct experience in event scheduling or travel preparation, and coaching in a collegiate setting or similar level of athletics Demonstrated experience and ability to supervise personnel, organize, and implement a master calendar of events Knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations Preferred Qualifications Minimum of three years of experience in D3 athletics operations Demonstrated ability to communicate with faculty, staff, and students concerning intercollegiate events Working Location This is an onsite position in Salem, MA with on-campus, in-person responsibilities, which may require frequent work on evenings and weekends.
