Benefits Health Care Contribution, Paid Time Off Job Description This is a full time exempt from OT, on site with travel for games role at The Shrewsbury Club. The Head Lacrosse Coach will be responsible for starting/creating The Shrewsbury Club's Lacrosse programs. The expectation is to start our in house Lacrosse programs and grow the programs rapidly. The Head Lacrosse coach is a department head position under the direct direction of the Turf Field Director, who is responsible to the Assistant General Manager, General Manager and Club Owner. This is a position for a local established Lacrosse coach with a following who is looking for a home to crate and grow a large program within a large stable organization with a facility and amenities already in place. This position will be expected to recruit and build participation through outreach, sales and any means necessary to grow participation from the ground up rapidly. We have already established there is significant demand in our local area. The organization will assist in the marketing and outreach to increase awareness of our new program and its new director. Operational expectations include but are not limited to, implementing training practices, coaching athletes of either gender, any age, or skill level, fostering athletic growth & teamwork, hiring & managing Jr. Coaches, exceeding parents & athletes' expectations, always communicating in a polite timely manner, to all, organizing & joining local leagues & organizations, setting the example to all of a humble, professional, likeable coach & manager. Qualifications & Experience Extremely experienced Lacrosse Coach with experience with both genders Demonstratable history/examples of program creation with significant participation growth Demonstratable history/examples of previously coached teams' success Demonstratable history/examples of the organization of previous teams Demonstratable history/examples of exceptional customer feedback regarding your coaching Demonstratable history/examples of Excellent written and communication skills Demonstratable history/examples of your willingness to work the hours needed to grow a program from the ground up.
