Position Overview Burke's Gymnastics is seeking a passionate and experienced Competitive Gymnastics Head Coach to lead athletes in our Development Program (DP) and Xcel teams. The ideal candidate is positive, knowledgeable, and committed to helping athletes grow both in gymnastics and in life. Key Responsibilities Provide safe, progressive, and technically sound gymnastics instruction. Develop athletes' skills, confidence, work ethic, and love for the sport. Adapt coaching methods to support different learning styles and personalities. Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive team culture. Prepare athletes for competitions and monitor their progress. Build strong relationships with athletes, families, and staff. Support the overall vision and growth of the competitive program. Qualifications Required Passion for working with children. Strong communication and leadership skills. Ability to motivate athletes while maintaining high standards. Commitment to athlete safety and development. Ability to work collaboratively with a coaching team. Preferred Competitive gymnastics coaching experience (DP and/or Xcel). Knowledge of gymnastics progressions and athlete development. USAG membership and certifications. CPR, First Aid, SafeSport certification (or willingness to obtain). Why Burke's?
