  • Contract Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Baseball Instructor, where your passion for sports and commitment to youth development will inspire the next generation of athletes!
In this energetic role, you will lead engaging baseball training sessions, foster teamwork, and promote healthy physical activity among children and teens. Your expertise will help participants develop fundamental skills, improve their game, and build confidence both on and off the field. Duties Design and deliver fun, age-appropriate baseball drills and practice sessions that emphasize skill development, sportsmanship, and safety. Teach fundamental baseball techniques such as batting, pitching, catching, and base running to participants of various skill levels. Foster a positive team environment by encouraging teamwork, good sportsmanship, and respectful behavior among players. Monitor participants' progress and provide constructive feedback to help them improve their skills. Enforce safety guidelines during all activities to ensure a secure playing environment for everyone involved. Collaborate with other coaches and staff to organize games, tournaments, and special events that promote active participation. Maintain equipment inventory, ensure cleanliness of facilities, and prepare training areas before each session. Skills Prior experience in baseball coaching or playing at competitive levels is highly desirable. Strong background in sports coaching with the ability to teach physical education fundamentals effectively. Experience working with children or youth in a childcare or teaching setting. Knowledge of additional sports such as basketball, cheerleading, climbing, martial arts (Karate, Judo), swimming, or gymnastics is a plus. Excellent behavior management skills to motivate participants and maintain discipline during activities. Background in lifeguard experience or health club/gym supervision can enhance your ability to oversee safety protocols. Ability to communicate clearly with students of diverse ages and skill levels while fostering an inclusive environment.
