Assistant Field Hockey Coach (SY 26-27) (Stipend)

Six days a week Twenty to twenty-five hours a week Three games a week Season Length•8/24/2026-11/23/2026

SUMMARY :

The Watertown Public Schools seeks an outstanding assistant coach to coach the field hockey team for the 2025-2026 school year. WPS is dedicated to excellence, equity, and community. Be a part of creating a bright future for WPS students.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

: Coach the team they are assigned to. Assume the duties of the head coach when the head coach is not present. Assist in coaching at practices and games. Implement practice plans. Oversee scouting of opposition. Be a liaison between the captains and the head coach. Coordinate with the athletic office on rosters, awards, and medical issues.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

CPR certified NFHS concussion course completed

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

: High School diploma or equivalent. Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university. Experience in the coaching field hockey Communicate clearly and effectively.
