Girls JV Volleyball Head Coach About Annapolis Area Christian School Annapolis Area Christian School (AACS) is a Christ-centered independent school serving students from Kindergarten through 12th grade across four campuses in Anne Arundel County, Maryland. Starting this coming school year, AACS will enter an exciting new chapter as our middle and high school programs unite on our 85-acre campus in Severn, Maryland, bringing students in grades 6-12 together on one campus. This transition will strengthen alignment across academics, arts, and athletics while expanding opportunities for collaboration, mentorship, and community. Role Overview Annapolis Area Christian School (AACS) is seeking a Girls JV Volleyball Head Coach to support and develop our volleyball program within a Christ-centered, team-oriented environment. The JV Head Coach will work closely with the Varsity Head Coach to develop student-athletes, build strong fundamentals, and foster a positive and competitive team culture. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage the JV volleyball team Plan and conduct practices focused on skill development and game strategy Provide individualized coaching and feedback to players Lead the team during matches, including lineup and in-game decisions Support alignment with the varsity program Build positive relationships with players, families, and staff Uphold school policies and ensure player safety Qualifications Affirmation of the AACS Statement of Faith Prior volleyball coaching experience preferred Strong knowledge of the game and ability to teach fundamentals Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain) Willingness and ability to drive a school mini-bus to games
