Overview The Boyne Mountain Snowsports Academy team members are enthusiastic, ambitious, thrive in the outdoors, love the mountain lifestyle, have a positive attitude, and are passionate about skiing and snowboarding. PSIA/AASI
Certified Level 1 (or international equivalent) not required, but is a plus. Must have a genuine desire to pass on knowledge of the sport and inspire others to enjoy it. A great guest service personality. A growth mindset. Basic English language skills. Previous experience in teaching or education is a plus.Physical Demands:
Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs. Must be able to ski for up to 8 hours per day. Must able to teach ski lessons in harsh winter weather (cold, snow, wind, rain, sleet, ice)Work Environment:
The instructor work environment is primarily outdoors in the winter weather. Temperature can vary greatly throughout the day and from day-to-day . Must be able to ski in snow, low visibility, powder, ice, hard pack, rain, sleet. Position Type and expected hours of work: The ski instructor position is full-time, part-time, peak part-time, or temporary based on candidate availability. Typical work day is 8:30am- 4:30pm. Must be available for weekends, weekdays, and holidays. Must have availability during holiday periods (December 26th
- 31st, January 18th
- 20th, February 15th
- 17th).
Qualifications:
