This role offers an exciting opportunity to inspire student-athletes, develop their skills, and foster a positive team environment. The ideal candidate will bring a passion for sports coaching, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to student development both on and off the field. As an integral part of our coaching staff, you will support the head coach in preparing athletes for competitions, implementing training plans, and promoting sportsmanship and teamwork. Duties Assist the head coach in planning and executing practice sessions focused on lacrosse skills, strategy, and conditioning. Support athlete development through individualized coaching, feedback, and motivation. Help oversee team logistics including equipment management, game day preparations, and travel arrangements. Foster a positive team culture by promoting sportsmanship, discipline, and respectful behavior among players. Contribute to scouting reports, game analysis, and performance evaluations to enhance team success. Ensure safety protocols are followed during practices and games, including proper supervision during physical activities such as swimming or climbing activities related to training. Engage with student-athletes' academic progress and personal growth initiatives to support their overall well-being. Experience Prior experience coaching or playing lacrosse at the collegiate level is preferred. Demonstrated ability to work with youth or student-athletes in a teaching or coaching capacity. Background in coaching with knowledge of lacrosse techniques, rules, and strategies. Familiarity with behavior management techniques to promote discipline and positive conduct among students.
