Key Areas of Responsibility The key responsibilities are as follows, but not limited to: Assist the Head Coach with daily practices, game preparation, and team activities. Help teach soccer fundamentals, skills, strategy, conditioning, and sportsmanship. Support the development of JV and varsity-level student-athletes. Promote a positive team culture built on accountability, discipline, respect, and teamwork. Encourage academic success, leadership, and personal growth among student-athletes. Assist with equipment, uniforms, communication, transportation, and game-day responsibilities. Qualifications Previous soccer coaching experience preferred. Knowledge of soccer fundamentals and strategy. Ability to mentor and motivate high school student-athletes. CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain). Must meet all school and MHSAA coaching requirements. Schedule & Commitment Practices typically held after school hours (3 days a week/ 2 Games per Week). Attendance required at all home/away games Season runs approximately from August through October Compensation Stipend position based on experience and school policy.
