Varsity Boys Basketball Coach Detroit Cristo Rey High School - 4.5 Detroit, MI Job Details 1 day ago Qualifications Community relationship building Stakeholder relationship building Full Job Description General Description The Varsity Boys Basketball Head Coach will lead the basketball program and help establish a culture of excellence, discipline, and student-athlete development. Key Areas of Responsibility The key responsibilities are as follows, but not limited to: Plan and oversee all team activities and practices. Develop game strategies and player development plans. Foster leadership, sportsmanship, and academic success. Supervise assistant coaches and team personnel. Organize offseason development opportunities. Build relationships with families and the school community. Qualifications Basketball coaching experience preferred. Strong knowledge of basketball fundamentals and strategy. Ability to build and sustain a successful program. Commitment to mentoring student-athletes. Schedule & Commitment Practices typically held after school hours (3 days a week/ 2 Games per Week). Attendance required at all home/away games Season runs approximately from November through March Compensation Stipend position based on experience and school policy.
