We offer fun classes and events for kids of all ages and skill levels, from toddlers to teens. We're growing fast and need instructors and fun facilitators to help us work with all these groups! So, are you one of our Kind? GymKind Academy is all about creating a fun, positive, and energetic environment where kids can learn and grow, and you'll love coming to work! We're a community of amazing co-workers and unique kids and families. Our staff is enthusiastic, eager to learn, physically active, and loves teaching, helping, and working with others—especially kids. While we don't require you to have specific experience with gymnastics, dance, tumbling, or working with kids, it is a HUGE plus ! Our staff receives regular training in the basics of teaching gymnastics like spotting, managing classes, and teaching safely. During training, you'll get to work with all our levels and programs, and we'll assign you to events and classes based on what you're good at, when you're available, and what we need. We REALLY encourage those who are or have some/all of the following to apply Current athletes and those with previous experience in gymnastics, cheerleading, dancing, martial arts, judo, or other sports Knowledge, interest and/or experience working with children (like Camp Counselors, Coaches, Teachers, Classroom Aids, Child Care and individuals pursuing career in Education ) Interested/pursuing a career in Kinesiology Strong communication skills, both verbal and written Our program includes a USA Gymnastics Women's Xcel and Developmental Competitive Team. If you have advanced skills or prior gymnastics experience, you might get the chance to train as a substitute or help with our Girls Pre-Team and Competitive Team groups when needed . AND, we have opportunities to move up to Floor Leader, Event Leader, Program Coordinator and Team Coaching Staff, if you're qualified too. ALL Applicants must be able to work a minimum of 2 days per week and 1 Saturday per month. To work for us Monday - Thursday evenings, you must be able to start no later than 5:00 pm and work to 8 pm. (We LOVE applicants who can work as early as 4:00 pm on weekdays and 8:45 am to 12:20 pm on Saturdays!) After training, you'll be responsible for: Planning and leading fun and age-appropriate classes and events. Creating a safe and supportive space for students to learn and grow. Tracking student progress, giving feedback, and helping them improve. Leading activities to keep students engaged and motivated.

GymKiND Classes are scheduled:

Tuesday mornings Monday through Friday, from 4:00 to 8:00 pm. Saturdays, from 8:30 am to 1:00 pm And our Special Events are held: Weekday mornings and afternoons Friday evenings Saturday afternoons (12:30 to 4:30) Sunday afternoons PLUS Weekday Spring Break, Summer Break and Winter Break Camps too! Event staff are scheduled in shifts and not every weekend - unless you want to! GymKiND Academy is closed for Memorial Day & Labor Day Weekends, and Thankgiving, Winter Holidays & 4th of July breaks during the year.
