Head Coach - Girls Varsity Volleyball

Overview Traverse City Christian School is seeking a passionate and dedicated Varsity Volleyball Head Coach to lead our volleyball program. This position is an opportunity to invest in student-athletes both athletically and spiritually, helping them grow in their skills, character, and faith. The Head Coach will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the varsity volleyball program, including planning practices, game strategy, player development, and fostering a Christ-centered team culture. Key Responsibilities Lead and organize all varsity volleyball practices, games, and team activities Develop student-athletes' skills, teamwork, and sportsmanship Create a positive, competitive, and Christ-centered team environment Provide mentorship and spiritual guidance with an emphasis on discipleship Communicate effectively with players, parents, and school leadership Collaborate with the Athletic DIrector to support program goals and school mission Ensure compliance with school and MHSAA policies Qualifications Previous varsity-level coaching experience preferred Strong knowledge of volleyball fundamentals, strategy, and player development A clear and active Christian faith with a heart for mentoring and discipleship Ability to lead, motivate, and build meaningful relationships with student-athletes Strong communication and organizational skills For more information, visit our website at https://www.tcchristian.org/about/employment/.
