Girls Varsity Basketball Coach

Position Overview:

Lincoln High School is seeking a dedicated and experienced Varsity Girls Basketball Head Coach to lead and develop our student-athletes both on and off the court. The ideal candidate will foster a positive, competitive environment that emphasizes skill development, teamwork, sportsmanship, and academic success.

Responsibilities:

Plan, organize, and conduct practices and game strategies Develop athletes' basketball skills, conditioning, and teamwork Promote sportsmanship, discipline, and character development Supervise assistant coaches and coordinate program activities Ensure compliance with school, district, and athletic association rules Communicate effectively with players, parents, and school staff Monitor student-athletes' academic progress Manage uniforms and equipment

Qualifications:

Previous coaching experience (varsity or equivalent preferred) Strong knowledge of basketball fundamentals and game strategy Ability to motivate and mentor high school student-athletes Excellent communication and leadership skills CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain) Must pass background check
