Qualifications:
Successful baseball coaching experience at the high school or college level Ability to work with a system-wide baseball program Must possess the knowledge and ability to teach baseball technique and strategy to enhance player skill development Ability to enforce discipline and sportsmanlike behavior at all times and oversee penalties for breach of such standards by individual students Be familiar with and implement MHSAA rules and policies of the Wayland Union Board of Education Basic first aid, CPR, and concussion training is required
Responsibilities & Duties:
Instruct team for competition, by teaching technique and promoting team building Represent the Wayland Union District in a positive and professional manner when dealing with opponents, officials, players, parents and spectators Schedule practices and events Must monitor students' academic progress Communicate effectively with athletes, parents, staff and officials
Terms of Employment:
WUEA Schedule B position Subject to passing post offer background checks
