Qualifications:
Successful basketball coaching experience at the high school or college level Ability to work with a system-wide basketball program Must possess the knowledge and ability to teach basketball technique and strategy to enhance player skill development Ability to enforce discipline and sportsmanlike behavior at all times and oversee penalties for breach of such standards by individual students Be familiar with and implement MHSAA rules and policies of the Wayland Union Board of Education Basic first aid, CPR, and concussion training is required
Responsibilities & Duties:
Instruct team for competition, by teaching technique and promoting team building Represent the Wayland Union District in a positive and professional manner when dealing with opponents, officials, players, parents and spectators Schedule practices and events Must monitor students' academic progress Communicate effectively with parents, staff and students
Terms of Employment:
WUEA Schedule B position, seasonal position only. Will be employed through EduStaff unless current WUEA member Contingent upon passing post offer background checks.
